I found I fun project that helps in foreign missions. They are called gospel aprons. Go to http://www.gainusa.org , mouse over "get involved" at the top of the page and a menu will appear. click on gospel aprons and it will take you to a page that tells all about them. you can sign up for their kit (which is free, just give them your mailing information) or you can buy the materials yourself and send them in. The kits come with fairly simple sewing instructions and everything you need ( except thread and , if you prefer, a machine). They are sent to orphanages in foreign countries so that the workers can preach the gospel to the children. Anyway they are a lot of fun and go together really quick. If you have some spare time they are also a wonderful way to help spread the word about Jesus.
