“Easy enough for everyday!” - Melissa
Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
5 tbl butter
1 cup milk or soymilk
1/4 cup dried parsley
1 cup shredded cheese
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 clove garlic finely minced
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together flour, salt, baking powder, and garlic powder. Cut in butter with a pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add milk, parsley, and shredded cheese. Stir just until blended. Drop batter by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until browned. Mix melted butter with minced garlic and brush over biscuits as soon as you take them out of the oven.
These biscuits make a nice addition to any meal and are easy to make!
