When my husband and I were coming home from GA, we stopped at a local dairy farm to get some cheese. While we were there we sampled some of the yummiest jelly I have ever had!
HONEY PECAN JELLY.
So, we bought a few of them. Oh, my - they are sooooo good and perfect on a homemade biscuit!! Then, I got to thinking that this delectable pint of jelly would make a perfect gift so I went in search of a recipe. The recipe I found did not call for pecans, but I am sure you could add a reasonable amount to the jelly.
1 cup honey
1/4 cup water
1/8 cup liquid pectin
Heat honey and water to boiling. Stir constantly. Add liquid pectin and bring back to a boil. Allow to cool in jelly jars.
You simply must try it! I will be making some this week!
