If it happened to me I would be totally devastated, more so than if it happened to me. We think that because they've been married for over 30 years that they would have it down by now. That they wouldn't circum to the temptations, or they will have more patience that we have but they don't. And what you said was so true, satin is really attacking marriages. Do you remember that passage in the Bible that spoke about the end days where people and going to be "given into marriage". I'm beginning to think that John is not only talking about people not being ready for the coming of the Lord but maybe it is also alluding to satin's plan of attack. I’m not going to give any unsolicited advice because like I said I would be devastated should it happen to my family, but its not their fault (your Mom’s or your Dad’s) its just proof that we are truly living in the end times and you need to be prepared.

Everyone was either pukeing or had diarrhea, I think I lost 5 pounds last week so that was the only pro. I’m so thankful that the 3 month old didn’t get sick, that would have really sucked!! By the way, you’re one step ahead of me; I’ve had my sewing machine for 10 years and while I managed to get it out of the box, I don’t remember ever using it. I’m working on a potholder project and will have to finish the project on the sewing machine…I guess I’ll get some use out of it then. Anyhoo I hope all is well, and thanks again.

Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself.: I am a stay at home mom; married to my best friend and the most perfect man I have ever met. We were married on 9/11/01 - proof that some good things did come out of that terrible day. We have a daughter age 9 and a son who is almost 6. I spend most of my time taking care of my family and my home, but I also love to knit, read, travel, make jewelry, and am currently trying to learn how to use my sewing machine. We are very blessed to have a nice little life here in Central California and I am thankful for every day that goes by because I have an awesome family.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Phil 4:6-7

What is your favorite book?: Me & Emma by Elizabeth Flock

What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?: I enjoy cooking and baking because I love to try new recipes. When I make something good for my family, it makes me happy!

Share your testimony with us.: God has always been a powerful presence in my life and still I struggle daily to fulfill my potential. I can't imagine going through life without a relationship with God and it is my hope that I will be an example to others of how great that can be, although I am constantly falling short of even my own expectations. But I'm always trying :)
