Yours is a story of great courage!!! May God bless you as you share your story with others. I am sorry that you have endured so much. It tells me that you are so very strong. He promises not to give us more than we can handle. I commend your choice to follow the Lord. I will pray for you. I can not imagine all the daily trials that you are facing. I do know that none of us can face our trials alone. May the Lord continue to bless you with strength and courage!!!
I am sorry to hear about the news from your doctor. I prayed for you just now, that the Lord gives you peace about the news, that He holds you in his arms and just comforts you during this time. He does not give you more than you can handle, and just remember that He is right there Monica - for you to lean on, for you to talk to. He will give you strength. You are weary. Pray to Him, go to Him, and He will give you rest. You have turned your life over to Him. Just remember, you are a child of His, and He has plans for your life. The Lord knows what He wants to do with you, He knows what He wants to do in your life. Just trust in Him. You will go through things you that you will not be able to handle alone. And You DON'T HAVE TO HANDLE IT ALONE!!! Amen!
I am reading the book : Becoming the Woman God Wants Me To Be by Donna Partow. I came across this verse:
5"For your (M)husband is your Maker,
Whose name is the LORD of hosts;
And your (N)Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel,
Who is called the (O)God of all the earth.
6"For the LORD has called you,
Like a wife (P)forsaken and grieved in spirit,
Even like a wife of one's youth when she is rejected,"
Says your God.
7"For a (Q)brief moment I forsook you,
But with great compassion I will (R)gather you.
Let the Lord comfort you.
I will be praying for you, your mother, and your teenagers (boys?)
I am here if you need me...
With much hope and love,
Carrie
