Giving Thanks for All of my Friends here at the Virtuous Woman.. Feb 12

Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself.

My walk with God began in 2004. I am a single, disabled, mother of three extreme teenagers. I am also sister to one brother who is only 12 years old. I take care of my disabled and terminally ill mother (57) each day with God's grace and my Dad works all the time it seems. We have two dogs who demand as much attention as the kids but are the light of each of our eyes.
Currently embarking on a journey to become what God has planned for me and to glorify HIM in all that I do..

A new Christian as of May 2004. Saved from the pit of darkness that holds abuse, drugs, alcohol, men and self-harm.

Do you have any prayer requests?

Pray for my Mom that her battle with heart disease, diabetes, COPD, Emphasema, CHF and many other illnesses rest in God's hands. Praying for her suffering to end and her joy in knowing Jesus is our Lord and Savior begins..

I am sorry to hear about the news from your doctor. I prayed for you just now, that the Lord gives you peace about the news, that He holds you in his arms and just comforts you during this time. He does not give you more than you can handle, and just remember that He is right there Monica - for you to lean on, for you to talk to. He will give you strength. You are weary. Pray to Him, go to Him, and He will give you rest. You have turned your life over to Him. Just remember, you are a child of His, and He has plans for your life. The Lord knows what He wants to do with you, He knows what He wants to do in your life. Just trust in Him. You will go through things you that you will not be able to handle alone. And You DON'T HAVE TO HANDLE IT ALONE!!! Amen!
I am reading the book : Becoming the Woman God Wants Me To Be by Donna Partow. I came across this verse:
