Share your testimony with us.
I was raised in a semi-christian home, meaning that we went to church on Sundays but lived very much in the world the rest of the week. At 14, my parents found God's will for their lives, but I kind of rebelled at all of the new rules they were "imposing" on my life. Met my husband at church, we were married when I was 17. Spent 11 years as a marine's wife. In and out of churches, trying to find one that fit "our ideals" (even went as far as joining the catholic church). In 1995-96 my husband lost his job (4 days before christmas) we lost our home, and we lost our oldest son all within a span of 7 months. What little faith I did have seemed to die. In August '09 realized that I was just "going throught the motions" of being a christian, and really and truly gave my life over to him. I have such a peace that I never had before, and am now "like a little child" trusting Him day by day in and for everything.
Do you have any prayer requests?
Our dear friends the Whites' only son (24) has been placed in a drug induced coma because he keeps having grand-mal seizures and they can't find out why. No insurance, and a young wife and 6 month old baby.
