When it's 99 and humid during the day up there, it's 97 and humid all night. At least here we get a break when the sun goes down! :-) Also - we have visited LA and southern TX - I don't know how those people live there year round. It is so thick you can cut it! So...yeah it does get hot and humid here, but in my little part of the state it's only bad for about 4-6 weeks out of the whole year. And not having to shovel snow or chip ice? Well - that's just icing on the cake for me!!! LOL!! Thanks for welcoming me on board. I'm looking forward to knowing people here.

Anyway, I do love it here. We are in Hilton Head, about 1 1/2 hrs from Charleston and 20 minutes from Savannah ga.

Tell us a little about yourself.: I'm a homeschooling, stay at home, college student mother and wife.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?: Ephesians 4:1-2 (if I had to pick one, there are a great many that move me)

What is your favorite book?: Ecccclesiastes

What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?: Cooking. For so many years, before I was saved, I didn't cook...at all...I didn't think that I could. But, when I met my husband and found the Lord, He gifted me with the ability and the joy of cooking. Seeing the pleasure that I give my family, especially my husband, when there is a hot, home cooked meal on the table is just plain wonderful.

Share your testimony with us.: I was lost and floating through life. As a child, in a sad childhood, I heard the words in my head, "I love you." Over and over one day I found out that the One that was saying that to me was Jesus. I realized that I was not alone and never will be again.
