Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself.
Daughter of my Heavenly Father, wife to King Ed, mother to Princess S. and Princess A. (so far!), Homemaker, who seeks to serve and love God and my family more everyday in all I say and do.
We homebirth, homeschool and live as close to nature as we can! I enjoy homemaking, learning and using herbs, growing closer to my Heavenly Father, spending time with my family, gardening, animals, farming, and studying history!
Our children are the future so we believe in teaching them (at home), about our countries and the worlds history so that they are better prepared for whatever their future may hold. They are our future leaders, teachers, mothers, fathers, judges, lawers, ministers, doctors! May God Bless their futures!

We have launched a effort to hold state legislators accountable to the people. This provides, at the moment, an open letter to your city council and your state legislators.

We need to have a person in every county in the state of Tennessee, and other states, to represent their county. Someone who… Continue

Hannah,
I know you have been faithfully praying for my health with the kidney disease stuff. I went to Chicago on Thursday and I finally got a a a name to waht is going on rather that just chronic kidney disease. I know that having a name doesn't help me physically but emotionally it does. All the Doctors were extremely friendly, understanding and thorough with me. I wqas told that there is no cure ( I already knew that from my research) and that I would eventually ahve to ahve a kidney transplant. Not what I really wanted to hear but I knew it would be necassary unless God intervenes by healing my kidneys that I have now. I also realize that it may be God's plan for me to have a transplant or not. I am trying to leave it all up to God which is hard to do at times. I will be going up to Chicago for my regular kidney care now, Russ was impressed with them up there and everyone I have talked to thinks that is where I need to be. I knwo if and when I need a transplant I want to feel comfortable with the Doctors that will be performing the transplant. Northwestern is a teaching and research hospital also. Just keep me in your prayers. Thanks for being such a great example of a Godly woman, a prayer warrior and a friend. I would love to be able to meet you sometime in person. If I am ever in Tennessee I will let you know. Love sharna

Hannah,
I am learning about herbs also. I want to learn as much as I can in case of rough times that may be coming. I garden and am planning on putting as much food up as I can this year. I look forward to sharing ideas with you, if you don't mind. I also dehydrate. Have a good weekend. Love-Sharna

Thanks for asking. Our Name, HomeSchoolVoices, represents a site that is a voice for homeschoolers who need help, support and encouragement. We'd like to call ourselves homeschool advocates.

Also, we chose biblical names for most of our children as well. We currently have 7 and one on the way. Benjamin, Samuel, Hannah, Rebecca, and Sophia have the biblical names. Our other 2 have regular names, Tiara and Eric.
