What is your favorite book?: Anything by Max Lucado

What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?: Laundry - may as well be! That's the thing that I never seem to finish!! ;D

Share your testimony with us.: I accepted Christ at the age of 10, and I was brought up in a Christian home with Christian values. However, my faith and my relationship with Jesus never seemed truly real until I had to move to a town where I knew no one with my husband who is an unbeliever. I had to put my trust in Christ to provide me with the support system I knew I would need. And He has done just that and so much more. He has provided me with a wonderful church home and with people who are on their knees daily to see my husband saved and delivered from satan.

Do you have any prayer requests?: For my husband, Kenny to accept Jesus as his Savior.

For me to have a bolder witness in my daily walk.

About Me & My House

I have been married 10 years now. God has blessed us with 2 beautiful children. I am a full time stay at home mom, I have a home based business and we homeschool. I am so grateful to God and my husband for allowing me to stay home with our children and raise them myself. I am a member of a church where God has supplied me with the most wonderful Christian family ever. I teach the 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School class and am the Director of the T & T club of our Awana program, and I am the Children's Church director. I love to work for God! What better boss could I ask for?!!

The Charolette Mason method is so wonderful! I have been gradually implementing her methods into our homeschool for the past 3 years. A great website is www.simplycharolettemason.com Wonderful curriuculum guide and resource lists! Books I would recommend, For the Children's Sake by Susan Schaeffer Macaulay, great introduction; A Charolette Mason Companion by Karen Andreola, practical application. I would also recommend The Three R's by Ruth Beechick for grades k-3, lots of practical help.
