I have a long journey with Christ. I spent many years searching for acceptance, love, a place to call my spiritual home. I then realized the your spiritiual home is within....a gift from Jesus. I love attending services with my family and even sing in a our praise band. However, I do know now that the peace and grace of our Lord and Saviour is a gift from above and can be found everywhere you seek it.
Do you have any prayer requests?
That I will learn to accept forgivness in my heart... knowing that I am forgiven but that I also need to forgive myself.

FIRST FOOTBALL GAME!

Well... much to my dismay my oldest boy (13) has now decided that football is a really great idea. And really, he is very good at it. I just pray that he doesn't get hurt. Today is his first game. Is very tall for his age and will be playing center. I would say that he is actually the largest boy on the team if you consider height only. Plus, he is very broad like his dad. Anyway, I'm off to the football game. Pray for me and for him... I'll try and post pictures later.

A great and inexpensive birthday idea...

Well this has been one really fabulous weekend. My oldest is a teenager officially. I just wanted to share what we did for his birthday. We decided that it was time for him to have his own room.... and I decided to give up my beautiful guest room. So, while he was out with friends at the fall festival (we live in farming country and this festival is a celebration of summers harvest and preparation for the fall harvest) the entire family joined in and moved his room. I had spent the past several… Continue

Hey Krista- Well, I think since we are to read two chapters a week (we're a little behind) we need to post at least something to generate discussions on each chapter twice a week.

I am so proud that you have a wonderful life and so proud to meet you. Only in America, land of opportunity. Please help me and I will help you as well as we work together to accomplish this Book Discussion analogy. I am also looking up some scriptures at the moment. Ps I did not have a good year for my little corn garden area. God Bless You Krista

Hey Krista! Thanks for your prayers. What a wonderful opportunity for your children to be raised away from the city. I'd love to adopt a baby one day. You too will be in my prayers. God bless you sister, Lissa

Hi Krista! It's nice to meet you! I am a firm believer in girlfriends being there for one another, to laugh and cry together... and to eat chocolate and go shopping together too! lol

I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon. God bless you!

Hello to all members of this forum. I've never joined anything like this before... but I'm looking for support and encouragement from others and want to make some on-line friends! :) I'm currently a working mom. Recently my husband and I moved from a large city back to the small farming community that I grew up in. We needed the move for our marrigae and our children. It was time to get out of the "rat race." We love our new lives and our children are so settled. They LOVE it here.
