- Tell us a little about yourself.
- I'm a mother, stepmother, & grandmother; currently medically disabled, & a former long-term care nurse. I am a passionate reader & I love all books. I'm also a big animal lover & have 3 cats and 1 dog.
- What is your favorite Bible Verse?
- "... faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see." ~ Hebrews 11:1.
- What is your favorite book?
- Hard to answer, I have so many favorites, but Joyce Meyer is a favorite author.
- What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?
- Cooking, even though I don't do a whole lot right now for medical reasons; because I enjoy cooking meals for other people and seeing them enjoy what I have made.
- Share your testimony with us.
- I was raised a Catholic, but when my daughter was about 10 y.o. we attended a brand new non-denominational christian church and we loved it! I was going through a divorce and the pastor & his wife & other church members helped me through it, and that was when I really became saved & asked God into my life. Every day is a learning experience and every day I feel myself growing as a christian and growing closer to God.
- Do you have any prayer requests?
- Yes, I need to know what God wants me to do now, now that my daughter is married and a mother, and now that I am no longer able to work as a nurse. I am a "caregiver", but I find myself with no one to care for & unable to physically do much. What are your plans for my life NOW, dear Lord?! Show me what You want me to do for You.
