Hi, I know this is an old convo, but I thought I'd add to it. I raise sheep and goats, and I needle felt wool into little animals and such, and sell them on Etsy, Ebay, and other places. My website is: www.motleymutton.com and my Etsy shop is www....

Denise, we've been observing the Sabbath for about 3 years now, and it has become our true delight, the happiest day of the week, for our whole family. We cook all the food before sundown Fri, including the food for the next day (Sat. afternoon.) ...

Hi Amanda - my husband and I have been married 26 years (on the 28th of May it will be) and have survived infidelity. Can I give you a few words of wisdom? I am sorry if I sound harsh, or matter-of-fact, but I feel these things are very important....

I wanted to add a couple of things: Melissa, you said you save grape seeds, but a much easier way to grow grapes is to grow them from cuttings. You have to trim grapevines every year anyhow, so instead of throwing away the cuttings, you can just ...

Hi, new here! We too observe the 7th day Sabbath (Fri sundown to Sat sundown.) Anything the Old Testament/New Testament says not to do on Sabbath, we don't (or at least we strive not to) do. We cook all our food for Fri and Sat, Fri. before sundow...

Hello Nancy. I am new to this board and saw that you and your family are Sabbath Keepers also :) Just wanted to say hello.

Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself.
I'm a mom of 11; 4 biological, 4 adopted, and 3 foster. We live on a 40 acre farm in West Virginia, and raise sheep, goats, chickens, and we grow a large garden and sell at the farmer's market. We observe the 7th day Sabbath and the OT Biblical Feasts (feast of Tabernacles, Passover, etc.) We also homeschool (couldn't you tell?) and have been doing so for about 19 years!

My current profile picture is my 2nd daughter, who is now 23 years old!
What is your favorite Bible Verse?
Too many to pick just one
What is your favorite book?
The Scriptures, The Hiding Place, Created to be His Help Meet, Family Friendly Farming
What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?
Weeding the garden!
Share your testimony with us.
Been married 26 years this month, have always loved being a stay at home mom, though I have worked in the past. We've been foster parents close to 10 years now, and after 23 years of having different faiths, my husband and I are now on the same page (HalleluYah!) As I said, we observe the 7th day Sabbath (Friday sundown to Saturday Sundown) and take the OT and Torah as for today. We believe Yahushua (Jesus) is the Messiah! We believe in modesty, old fashioned values, and family being together.
Do you have any prayer requests?
Prayer for my older children, that they would come closer to the Father, see the need to live by his laws and Biblically, and that the Father would heal any mistakes we have made with them in the past.
