Tell us a little about yourself.: I'm Patty Hall, live in NC. I've been married 21 yrs, have a 21 yo daughter who has been married a yr and lives in TN and a 17 yo son. I work pt outside my home in retail.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?: Jeremiah 29:11
"Fo I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord, "plans for good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."

What is your favorite book?: Bible

What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?: washing dishes. Nothing feels better than a sink of hot soapy water, looking out my window, reflecting on what ever comes to mind. It's relaxing.

Share your testimony with us.: I was saved around the age of 8. Went to a church that really didnt' teach that being a Christian was a personal relationship with Christ, went more on feeling than faith.
In my late teens yrs, I got out of church for various reasons. but thankfully, when I realized that I needed God back in my life, He took me back. Since then I've made many mistakes, felt far from Him at times but I now know that it is by grace thru faith and I have grown closer to Him.

Do you have any prayer requests?: I'm recovering from abdominal hysterctomy and bladder repair surgery (on 9/30)-I'm doing ok, but would like for you to pray that I will regain my strength, heal properly, listen tomy body and not do too much. Also that during this time at home, I will seek God in a few things that I have let go and need to priotitize.

My 17 yo son-he accepted Christ when he was 10 but as a teenager, I know the temptations that are coming his way. Please pray withme that God will place a hedge about him and not let him go too far.
