Profile Information

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a newly wed of 2 years with 2 daughters 18 and 14 from a previous marriage and an 18 month old son from my new hubby. I also have a 13 month old granddaughter. I just started homeschooling my 14 yr old and we're still trying to find her learning and my teaching styles.

What is your favorite Bible Verse?

Psalm 106:1 "Praise ye the Lord, O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

What is your favorite book?

Wow that would be a hard choice..... I just love to read!

What is your favorite homemaking task? Why?

cooking, there is so many different foods you can make and with just a variation of ingredients or spices you can make food taste s o very differrent.

After many failed relationships with men I fianlly handed my love life over to the Lord. " I said God I've made many bad choices in the men that I have been with and I know you have a better plan for me. I'm handing it over to you beacause I know your choice will be better than mine. " And within 6 months I learned that a man I had known from my job had liked me for 10 years and never said anything. He is now my husband of almost 2 years and we are very happy together!

Do you have any prayer requests?

I would like prayer for bringing my daughters closer to my hubby , to help them to accept him as a "father" figure; and also prayer for my homeschooling endeavor. For the health of my children and granddaughter.

None of these programs are work sheet dependent, so if your daughter thrives that way these programs probably wouldn't work for you. I know people who have used K12 said that their problem with the program was the work sheets, so I thought I would share what has worked for us!
