Warm and then cold

It's interesting how God can use things to help us build the traits we should have. There are times when I wish He wouldn't do it though. We just got back from our annual trip south to warmth, now it's cold back here. I have a chronic condition that has at times made life well, miserable. I think God uses those times when there is nothing I can do or change, I have to just be quiet. Well, Ihaven't blogged for awhile. We have been attempting to remoldel the kitchen and I think I can safely say we are in the home stretch. FINALLY! If anyone has ever done one of these projects you know what I'm saying. The dc and I started back to school about 3 weeks ago and it's not going to bad. Well, we celebrated the 4th yesterday. My parents came over for a bbq and fireworks. I couldn't help but think about where we are right now. Our country was founded on priciples of freedom for all. Yet, as I write this our freedoms are seriously in question and jeopardy. It's sad to think that our loved ones serving as soldiers are bleeding and dying for a country that is dying. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!

Well the senate is trying to pass S. 909, the supposed Hate crimes bill. The problem is it protects pedophiles and the like not just gays and the goal is to jail our pastors. I know the end times mean this but I still have to fight it, if for no other reason than to save my dad and brother(both pastors). I have called and emailed senators like crazy for months.
