Well, we celebrated the 4th yesterday. My parents came over for a bbq and fireworks. I couldn't help but think about where we are right now. Our country was founded on priciples of freedom for all. Yet, as I write this our freedoms are seriously in question and jeopardy. It's sad to think that our loved ones serving as soldiers are bleeding and dying for a country that is dying. History has proven that loyalty doesn't exist in socialist environments, that it becomes a self-preserving society. Soldiers serve but only for fear of what might happen to their families. Is that the motivation we want for them? Do we want to have things taken away and given to someone else because we HAD and they didn't? Do we want to go into hiding to protect our children like the jews had to in WW2? I don't. But will we have any choice, will the 4th mean the same thing next year or the year after that or in 10 years? If we don't have faith and find revival in the country and the world soon, the trials to come will quickly become too much. I know my fervent prayer has been that God would grant us one more year, so I can be sure of my childrens hearts and the strength of their faith to stand whatever may come. My saying right now is I'm preparing for a disaster of mega proportions and the rapture, as I don't know which will come first. I pray the rapture, but I want to be prepared no matter what. How about you?
